28 & 2 and November

I'll start with how Kennedy is growing. I feel bigger by the day.

How your baby's growing:

By this week, your baby weighs two and a quarter pounds (like a Chinese cabbage) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of her head to her heels. She can blink her eyes, which now sport lashes. With her eyesight developing, she may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. She's also developing billions of neurons in her brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world.

Exciting huh?

Yesterday I purchased this dresser and mirror for Kennedy's room at The Shops Above Memory Lane. Andrea is one of the "crafters" at this shop and she refinishes and dresses up old furniture. She will be painting the mirror and dresser to go with the color scheme of KK's room and it should be ready by 20th or so. I can't wait!

Now for the rest of November. We have much to be thankful for!
7th- Crystal's baby shower. I can't wait!!
9th- 3D ultrasound
10th- last monthly baby check up/appointments will now be every 2 weeks
12th- My sister, Landon, and several other family members will be coming to town for...
13th- OUR FIRST BABY SHOWER!!! I am very thankful that my dad and stepmom are hosting this shower for my dad's side of the family and special friends. It's a couples shower and we can't wait!
14th- TEAMS
And lots of other really fun activities.

I will try to be better about posting but with nesting, working, and growing a baby I have been running out of energy very quickly.

What are you looking forward to this month?

  1. I will pray that your 3D ultrasound comes out perfect. Mine did not because she moved around sooooo much. It was hard to get a good shot of her.
I am excited to see what KK looks like!!! I know she will have the "Barbie and Ken -like" features of you and Kyle....Blonde hair and blue eyes..and tall! :)

  2. I LOVE that furniture! I was at the store the day that lady brought it's super cute! What color is she painting it? It will be good for Kenedy when she gets older too. :)
