What Faith Can Do

KUTLESS

Everybody falls sometimes
Gotta find the strength to rise
From the ashes and make a new beginning
Anyone can feel the ache
You think it’s more than you can take
But you are stronger, stronger than you know
Don’t you give up now
The sun will soon be shining
You gotta face the clouds
To find the silver lining

I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains
Hope that doesn’t ever end
Even when the sky is falling
And I’ve seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That’s what faith can do

It doesn’t matter what you’ve heard
Impossible is not a word
It’s just a reason for someone not to try
Everybody’s scared to death
When they decide to take that step
Out on the water
It’ll be alright
Life is so much more
Than what your eyes are seeing
You will find your way
If you keep believing

I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains
Hope that doesn’t ever end
Even when the sky is falling
And I’ve seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That’s what faith can do

What a Day!!

1. On a scale of 1-10, how superstitious are you, honestly? Not superstitious but I'm very intuitive. If something isn't right or if I am going to win something I usually know.

2. Julius Caesar is quoted as saying, "I came, I saw, I conquered." Which circumstance or experience of yours does this saying best describe? Didn't JZ have a song with this line in it? I felt that way when I returned from Costa Rica after studying Spanish there for three weeks in '05, after finding healing after my parents divorce, after completion of my first marathon, and when picking up our Lexus. Times when I struggled through something and finished it to completion!

3. If I peeked in on your day like a mischievous little leprechaun, at what time would I most likely find you blogging? I do most of my blogging around 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. After my first cup of coffee and before I work out. I also blog late at night around 11:00 pm - 1:00 am.

4. Re springing forward for Daylight Saving Time, is there anything you've ever been really early or really late for? Umm no. I usually find out/wake up late and figure it out before I show up late somewhere.

5. What are you most looking forward to concerning Spring? I thrive in Spring and Summer. So I'm looking forward to becoming a better version of me and throwing off all those dumb things that entangle me. I'm looking forward to going to Orlando in April, paying taxes, and preparing my body for our trip to the Bahamas :) I am looking forward to the birth of Meagan Hoggs baby, seeing the growth in my friend who is pregnant with her first baby, and keeping my nephew Landon for a week. SO SO SO much to be thankful for.

6. Shamrocks are the national flower of Ireland and are picked on St. Patrick's Day and worn on the lapel or shoulder. Do you wear green on St. Patty's Day? YES!

7. One of Caesar's assassins, Casca, said, "But, for my own part, it was Greek to me," which of course means he didn't understand something. Probably his own lines in the play. Anyway, what is something that is "Greek to you," something incomprehensible or indecipherable? Hmm I think question number 8 is "greek to me" what does this mean??

8. Is March behaving more like a lion or a lamb where you live? ?????? HUH?

9. "An extra yawn one morning in the springtime, an extra snooze one night in the autumn is all that we ask in return for dazzling gifts. We borrow an hour one night in April; we pay it back with golden interest five months later." -Winston Churchill. If you had one extra hour per day every day, what would you do with it? Clean. The sad thing is that I usually have an extra hour and I blog :)

10. Legend says that every Leprechaun has a pot of gold hidden deep in the Irish countryside. Aside from real gold or money, what material item would be in your dream pot of gold? Having a house all my own with 5 kids running around in it!

11. "The best things are nearest: breath in your nostrils, light in your eyes, flowers at your feet, duties at your hand, the path of God just before you." Robert Louis Stevenson. Look around you right now and tell us about something essential or beautiful very near you that you take for granted every day. My husband is next to me and I know I take him for granted! He is so gorgeous to me and he needs to know that more!

12. Just for a bit o' fun, click here(www.blogthings.com/irishnamegenerator/) and then report your Irish name. Mine is "

Chloe McLoughlin

." I love it!

Vision Boards

Vision boards work. <-- You can click there to read about them in more detail but basically if we write down our goals and post them where we can see them we are more likely to accomplish them. So, December 30th I made a vision board for achieving our Lexus with FHTM. We would need 24 people to join our team in 3 consecutive months. I tore out three months of my desk calendar and marked each month with a 24 as the finish. Each time someone joined our team I would put the number on the board on that day. In January we met our first month of qualifications but cut it too close for comfort (1 hour before the end of the month). We finished February with 27 new team members and used that momentum to push through and complete our car qualifications on the 14th of this month! We are thrilled, exhausted, and ready to complete our next goals. I will begin making our vision boards for GETTING OUT OF DEBT, AND PROMOTING TO NATIONAL SALES MANAGERS tomorrow! I am so excited and focused and ready to be debt free!! You may remember that making a vision board for completing my first marathon in February of 2009 helped me do just that! So my vision boards are working at 100%!! What do you need to achieve??

Noon

Thank you to our wonderful team who helped us achieve our goal! We couldn't have done this without each and every one of you. Also, thank you to my wonderful friends who have encouraged us in the last few weeks to keep pressing on toward our goal. Thank you to the Lord. Ephesians
3:20 is ringing in my heart so loud I had that I sobbed in my bubble bath with thanksgiving!!
And thank you to my wonderful husband who knew this day was coming since the day that we signed up in FHTM! I LOVE YOU and am so thankful that you believe! We pick the car up at Noon in Waco!

I've Got to Say

Woke up feeling a bit guilty because my clock on my phone read: 11:15. Funny. I set my alarm for 8. I did. So, I prayed. I sure hope none of my blog reader followers sends me one of these clocks soon :)

But what I've Got to Say is that Friday and Saturday night at the Extraordinary Women's Conference in Austin with Ashley Snell and Stephanie Helm changed my life. If you have never been to one of these conferences we are all going together next year. It was an intimate time of worship, Biblical teaching, laughter, tears, healing, praying, hugging, loving, and coffee (their white chocolate mocha with low fat milk was the best I've EVER had). It was a calling to peace, surrender, honesty, and opening up.
I arrived at the conference on Friday night with a huge knot in my neck and right shoulder that had been there since the week before (stress) and arrived home last night feeling free. Free of stress. Free of worry. Free of fear. And free in my friendships with Ashley and Stephanie.
On Saturday, Angela Thomas talked to us about how we can go to the store and buy bits of peace. We can get a pedicure and get 30 minutes of peace or a massage and get an hour of peace but we are always going to be left with stress if we don't go to the Lord for peace.
I'm a changed woman. I woke up loving me for the first time in about, well a while and I'm not dragging those "i can't compare" chains around any longer. Thank you Ashley for inviting me. It might have been the best $49 I have ever spent.

Top 2 Tuesday...Names

Top 2 Favorite Names
Kyle and I are sticking with "J" and "K" names

1. Girl name: I love the name Kyla Joy and will name my first daughter that if I have one.

2. Boy name: James Ray. We would call him Jimmy Ray if we have a boy. James was my great-grandfathers name and he just meant the world to me.

Don't go getting any ideas :) It seems we are just adding animals to are family at this point.

We Want The World to Hear

Track #:
3
Lyrics By:
Chris Kuti

Eternal King, we bless Your Name
For You were and You are, forever You will be
Praised in this place
And Lord our hearts are yielded
We give them only to You God

There is none righteous
There is none worthy
There is none Holy but You the King
I will live my life to sing of Your wonder
To shout of Your glory so creation will hear God
We want the world to hear

Oh sovereign King this heart is free
From the death that I was born into
You put Your Grace out on display
And in response I can help sing Your praise God

Hallelujah we sing
Hallelujah we cry
Hallelujah we’re living for Your Name, Jesus

Hallelujah we sing
Hallelujah we cry
Hallelujah we’re living for You

Running the Race

These 7 ladies have decided to help me for 30 days (though this might take more like 90). Some of them don't even know what it is that I need them to do but I am pleased that they have decided to come along for the journey. I am on a quest to have a balanced life! The Place Ministries describe that a balanced life should look similar to this:
If you would like to embark on this journey with me I will be posting what I am doing to gain a balanced life. Who's in?

Respond with your comments to the following questions
1. Which area(s) above is/are the most neglected?
2. Which area above do you feel you have under control the most?
3. Which one do you need the most support/encouragement with?

My answers:
1. Social. I need a serious girls night ASAP
2. Career
3. Spiritual (though Ashley Snell is encouraging me daily in this) and Physical (I need to make sure I do some sort of exercise daily and take care of my body)

Monday Inspiration

Be blessed today!
