I haven't blogged a "run with me" post in the last few weeks so I am sorry if you haven't been able to run with me :) This weeks workout is as follows:
5 minute warm up walk
run 10 minutes
walk 1 and 1/2 minutes
run 10 minutes
I must say that I am enjoying the increased running minutes! I am actually able to get into a sort of zone and I feel stronger by the day. This Sunday I will be running in my first race since well fall 2009 crazy huh? I can't wait to run the Bun Run with A. Snell.
I know I need to post about Kennedy Kate's 3 month birthday but I just don't have the time at this time. After tonight we have 2 full days to finish a record month for us...so...I'm a Little Bit Focused. I will tell you that I LOVE LOVE LOVE being Miss K's momma and I just think I was made for it.
This day has been the best day i've had in a really long time! Not that other days have been bad. They just haven't been as good as today. We woke up and had Chick-fil-a breakfast burritos for breakfast and then KK and I were invited over to A. Snell's house for coffee on the porch. We so enjoyed our time with her!! We love Auntie Ashley so very much! When we got home I took Belley Brown (our chocolate lab Belle's nick name) on a 2.5 mile run. I was literally dragging her the last 5 minutes or so. She did a great job though.

Then we headed to Seguin for a meeting and then over to my dads for a shrimp dinner and some fun in the sun! What a wonderful day so far!
Did you know that you can click on the "stats" button on your dashboard and see how many times each of your blog posts are read? I just figured this out today and am blown away that 84 people have already read the post that I wrote late last night. Now if only I could get some of you readers to post a comment :)
How do you like my new blog look? Thank you Kreated by Kelsey!
This weeks running schedule is as follows: Warm up: 5 minute walk Work out: run 5 minutes walk 2 minutes repeat 3 times Cool down: 5 minute walk *remember to run 4-5 days this week*
I must admit that when I realized this weeks running time jumped from 3 minutes to 5 I was a bit intimidated. The first run of the week ended up being very challenging but felt so good mentally. I was able to set into a steady pace and felt very comfortable in my stride. With every run I feel stronger and am reminded of my love for the sport. Thank you Lord for the ability to run! I don't take it for granted!
