Week in the Life: Thursday

Yes, I know its Saturday and I am writing Thursday's post. Yes, I know this defeats the purpose of Week in the Life but I will continue anyway:

Thursday was a great day of:

Jumping around

Eating

Lounging with Stetson

Watching Big Brother

and enjoying time as "our little family."

Thursday also held:

• a lunch meeting
• 2 new teammates
• an answered prayer
• a long phone conversation with my sister
• a walk
• and a few hundred kisses

Week in the Life: Wednesday

I was supposed to write this post last night but when I got home and got Miss K to bed I had to go to bed too. Here's how the day went:

Kennedy woke up at 9 and took at 6 ounce bottle and we started getting ready for the day. I had a meeting at Casa Sol (great affordable food) in Seguin at 1 with Regional manager Jodie where we gained a new team member and enjoyed lunch. Since we were in the area already, we went to my dads to hang out for the rest of the afternoon. We enjoyed swimming for a bit and then retreated inside for naps in the AC. At 5:15 my dad arrived home from work to keep Kennedy and Kyle and I headed to our monthly meeting at the Dominion country club in San Antonio. In my opinion, this meeting is the best meeting of the month. It is a blessing to work with many business owners all over the San Antonio area who know what it means to build a team and work with people. After sharing our story there we got in the car and started back to Seguin to pick up our little girl. At 9pm on Wednesday nights we have our team conference call and last night I interviewed our top Regional sales manager for the month thus far and Kyle gave some business building tips. When we arrived back at my dads house my step mom had dinner ready for us (such a blessing) and then we headed back to Austin. Kennedy was sleeping soundly in her bed by 1030 and I was tucked into mine by 11:15.

Week in the Life: Tuesday

Kennedy Kate woke up this morning at 6 and took a 7 ounce bottle in about 8 minutes and was back to sleep until 9:30. I woke up and headed to her room at her first few sounds but when I arrived she was back asleep so I got to enjoy an extra hour to myself this morning with coffee from my favorite mug.

At 1030am my girl was awake and so was my husband so Kyle and I headed up to her room to feed her her breakfast bottle.
I sent welcome emails to new teammates and then my mom called to tell me that the jurors had come to a decision in the Casey Anthony trial and so we watched:

Watching this bothered me because I know what the definition of reasonable doubt is. I would not have been able to give a guilty verdict either. I do agree that Caylee needs justice so please don't take my heart wrong.

Kennedy went down for a nap at 1:30 and Kyle and I got ready for our San Antonio meeting. At 3 I had to wake Kennedy up and we headed to YaYa and Papa John's house so that she could spend time with them while we worked. Our meeting went great and we were back with our baby girl by 8:30pm. Now at home we have enjoyed a wonderful dinner of chicken spaghetti, Kennedy is fast asleep for the night, and I am finishing this blog post. Maybe tomorrow will be a much more exciting day. Can't wait to see what Wednesday holds.
