6 Months

Dear Kennedy Kate,

You turned 6 months old on Tuesday! You weigh 18 pounds & 2 ounces: 90th percentile
You are 27 inches tall: Also 90th percentile
You are a very happy baby who sleeps through the night.
You are learning to sit on your own with the help of mommy or daddy.

Highlights

You love to play with your toys but right now your soft flower rattle is your favorite one.
You take 6 ounce bottles and love rice cereal and bananas.
You are so sweet and strong and have made our days have great purpose.
You love to read your book of prayers with your mom.
You love to jump in your jumper.
You no longer like your swing and have out grown your bouncer.
You wear size 3 diapers.
You throw your shoes off as soon as we put them on you.
Every single day more of your personality comes out and we just love being your parents.

Love,

Mom and Dad

Advice Please

3 Month old Kennedy Kate is not sleeping well at all. I (try to) put her down by 9pm and she wakes up every night an hour and a half later and then we fight to get her back to sleep until almost 2am (Yes, I feed her during that time). Then she wakes up every 3 hours until 9 in the morning. This momma is tired and AND KENNEDY IS E.X.H.A.U.S.T.E.D.!!!

What do I do?????????

A Weekend to Remember

4 Generations. Me, KK, my mom, and my grandmother
KK got to meet her great grandmother Esmond for the first time.

Posing with Grandma
With Grandma (my mom)
Saturday:
10AM: we went to look at the house that my aunt Candy is building and it is modern and beautiful! I wish that I would have taken pictures to share with yall.
2PM: Visit to my grandma and grandpa's house
4PM: Visit to my Aunt Pam and Uncle Kerry's new house. My cousin Courtney was there and it was great to see her. They loved meeting KK for the first time!
7PM: Dinner at Bay Town seafood where I had fried shrimp and stuffed crab

We ended a wonderful weekend with some dinner at the Salt Lick. We haven't been there in a very long time and it was nice to share a meal with my honey. I am loving every bit of being a mommy and will cherish every card that I received today. I don't want to take a single day for granted with my family and I am so glad that I got to spend some time with my mom's side. I pray that this weekend left my mom feeling refreshed and renewed. I sure feel that way!

What Did We Do?

I'm not sure what we did without Kennedy Kate
I'm sure we got a whole lot more done around the house
But life sure wasn't as sweet
I can tell you that
And she sure helps a lot :)

A Little Bit Focused

I haven't blogged a "run with me" post in the last few weeks so I am sorry if you haven't been able to run with me :) This weeks workout is as follows:

5 minute warm up walk
run 10 minutes
walk 1 and 1/2 minutes
run 10 minutes

I must say that I am enjoying the increased running minutes! I am actually able to get into a sort of zone and I feel stronger by the day. This Sunday I will be running in my first race since well fall 2009 crazy huh? I can't wait to run the Bun Run with A. Snell.

I know I need to post about Kennedy Kate's 3 month birthday but I just don't have the time at this time. After tonight we have 2 full days to finish a record month for us...so...I'm a Little Bit Focused. I will tell you that I LOVE LOVE LOVE being Miss K's momma and I just think I was made for it.
