The month of thanksgiving! I missed the boat on the whole Facebook giving thanks every day thing so I wanted to update my blog here with things I am thankful for.
1) Jesus!! Thank you for saving my life!
2) the ability to worship freely
3) perfect provision from the Lord

6) friends that allow me to be me and open and upfront with them about concerns

21 Months & 1st Ear Infection

Yesterday Kennedy celebrated her 21 month birthday with the sniffles and a cough that woke her several times during the night. Today she woke up from her nap with goopy red eyes and was also tugging on her ear. A trip to the after hours clinic confirmed an ear infection and pinkeye for our angel gir. Her favorite thing to watch right now is Pinocchio which is, "nocchio" and through tears she requested we watch that this evening. We all snuggled up with some goldfish crackers and cuddled but every time she would cough she would cry. Poor little thing! She has been fast asleep since 8:30 and I pray she gets good rest tonight.

October has been a whirlwind! How is there less than 2 weeks remaining? November will be here before we know it and then it will be Christmas! I love this time of year so very much! I am looking forward to every little thing that is coming our way but I must say that I am rather enjoying the here and now right now as well. Tonight Kennedy is spending the night at her grandparents house and it is amazing what all a mommy can get accomplished without the busy hands of a toddler undoing everything that is done. I have vacuumed, mopped, finished AND put away all laundry, fresh sheets on beds, cleaned stove top, started dishwasher, cleaned bathrooms, organized business receipts...whew. Now I am relaxing with my late night cup of coffee and listening to some Explosions in the Sky: Your Hand in Mine. 

"Be still and know that I am god!" Psalm 46:10 Is the verse that comes to me when I listen to that song. Do yourself a favor and listen to it and close your eyes for 8 minutes.

Wordless Wednesday

What If

What if you did all that you wanted to do? What if you became every dream that you have in your heart? What if you just went for it? 

Every time I start writing that book, or training for that race, or making myself available to speak at that event, or pray for that person, or serve in that respect, or share our business, or write that letter that I know I am supposed to write I always feel pushed back. I've been working hard on pushing through those "push back" times because I know that that is what I am supposed to do. I am really sick of doubt changing my course or making me stay where I am. 

If you could do anything and you knew you wouldn't fail, what would you do!? 

I think we should all go do that!
