Friday Night

Last night FHTM founder Paul Orberson came to San Marcos, TX to speak after a weekly business presentation. There were over 400 people in attendance with standing room only.

I love this picture that one of my teammates snapped. That's Paul Orberson and me in the background standing with Joel McNinch. We were listening to Kyle speak and he did FANTASTIC!
Kyle speaking. He's handsome huh?

I Found IT!!

It? Yep! It! A food plan/lifestyle I can stick with forEVER! For those (12) of you who have been readers of my blog for the past few years you might remember me talking about trying these diets:

The Eat Clean Diet lasted all of about a week before I ate a whole cake and put sugary creamer back in my coffee. It also caused a friend to have a breakdown ;)
The Body for Life for Women was read from cover to cover but much too complicated for me to even know where to start.
Let me introduce you to my friend The Belly Fat Cure. I'm very thankful to Mr. Jorge Cruise for a plan that I have had success with for over 6 months. What impresses me the most is that my husband, mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, and 4 friends are all having daily success with this plan and have lost significant amounts of weight. What impresses me further is that we are keeping it off.
Here's how it can work for you:
  • Consume no more than 15g of sugar per day (much easier than it sounds)
  • Consume no more than 6 servings of carbs per day. *1 carb serving = 20g of carbs *don't consume more than 2 servings of carbs per meal
Here's a sample day of eating for me:
Breakfast:
  • 2 whole scrambled eggs
  • shredded Cheddar cheese (not low fat or fat free..the real deal)
  • 2 strips of regular bacon
  • 2 slices Ezekial bread (there isn't any sugar in this bread and have 2 slices equals 2 carb choices)
  • real butter on my bread :) YUM!
Snack(s):
  • real string cheese (2)
Lunch:
  • A junior deluxe cheese burger from sonic (I remove 1 slice of bread so it's just 1 carb & 2g sugar)
  • A small tater tot (1 carb choice 4g sugar)
Dinner:
  • Grilled chicken sandwich on whole wheat buns that are 1 carb choice and 4 sugars
  • real mayo
  • a strip of bacon
  • real cheese
  • pickles
  • and an once of potato chips
I am never left hungry, I'm never tempted to binge eat, I've tried to pig out on cookies and I feel sick after, I don't crave sugar, I have more energy, I don't have to count fat, or calories, or worry about what I will eat when I go out to eat, I can have chips, and salsa, and queso too, I don't have to deprive myself. I'm. In. Love.

Convention Day 2

Meet Darla DiGrandi! I was so excited to see her because she has taught me what it means to dress for success and how to raise my belief level. I am blessed to have her as a mentor who pushes me to reach my goals. She is a National Sales Manager and was just inducted into the Ring of Honor.
Ring of Honor being recognized on stage.
Tommy Chapa is the number one Executive Sales Manager in FHTM. He is a former mason from Bulverde, Texas and spoke to us about keeping it simple. He is an amazing man who cares deeply about people and loves the Lord.
Kyle and me
Our team rally. The company founder, Paul Orberson stopped by with words of encouragement. It is amazing to be a part of a company that exists to help others achieve their financial goals and life dreams. FHTM is company that was founded by a man that loves the Lord and has a calling on his life to help others succeed.
More of our team rally. What if we would have quit at month 4,5, or 6 when things were tough?

Very dear friends and team leaders from Fredericksburg. Melanie Krause and Olivia Wehmeyer are ladies I want in my life for years to come!
Molly and me again! I wish we lived closer to each other.

Convention Day 1

We arrived in Orlando on Thursday around 3:30pm and hit the pool. It was so nice to sit and relax in the sun and not have a thing to think about for a bit. After a day in the sun I was happy to see that there was a coffee pot in our room and I quickly made a fresh cup.

Later that night we met up with our teammates in the lobby! It was great to have our Fredericksburg leaders there with us.
Left to right: Kyle, Fil Cruz (resigned from his position as the director of the cardio pulmonary position at the Fredericksburg hospital thanks to the income he is making with FHTM part time), Laura Cruz, Heath Sasko, Melanie Krause (a barber that is looking forward to working FHTM full time in the very near future), and Randall Janc (a plumber that says his job stinks and he's ready to be full time as well). It is such a blessing to work with like minded people.

Molly Aguilar and me. She and her husband Scott are National Sales Managers and Ring of Honor recipients for FHTM. She is pregnant with their first child and they just found out they are having a baby girl! It will be so much fun to see these girls grow up with big dreams and goals.
Fil and Laura Cruz have doubled their FHTM business the last 4 months and have also earned the Fall trip! We are so blessed to work with them and so excited that they will be Executive Sales Managers in the next few days!
My mentor and very dear friend Diana Waggoner. I cannot put into words all that she and her husband Tom have done for us. They have taught us everything they know about business building and I am so thankful that they have coached us and believed in us from the beginning!

Day 2's post with come tomorrow!
